Ts. Dr. Eravan Serri is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Borneo Engineering Solution Services Sdn. Bhd., a visionary leader with a proven track record in engineering, research, and talent development. With nearly two decades of experience across the construction, oil & gas, and education sectors, he brings both technical expertise and strategic foresight to the company.
Dr. Eravan earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Building Materials from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where his groundbreaking research on oil palm shell lightweight aggregate concrete positioned him as a pioneer in sustainable building technology. His academic work has been published in leading international journals, highlighting his commitment to advancing innovation and sustainability in engineering practices.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Eravan has held diverse roles spanning civil and structural engineering, consultancy, research, and academia. He previously served as Senior Lecturer and Academic Dean at Kolej Teknikal Yayasan Sabah, shaping future engineers and industry professionals, and has collaborated with organizations such as Perunding GEA (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd., Usains Holding Sdn. Bhd., and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). Through these experiences, he has developed a reputation for technical excellence, leadership, and capacity building.
A Professional Technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), Dr. Eravan also holds multiple professional certifications, including HRDF Trainer Certification, CIDB Trainer Certification, and advanced qualifications in data analytics and business intelligence. His unique ability to integrate engineering expertise with digital innovation and workforce development underpins the company’s vision of delivering end to-end, future-ready solutions.
